the perfect party

I think that if I ever had a pool and party simultaneously, it would look something like this. (Compliments of Martha's Craft of the Day.)

craftyness: paper garland

I think that for my next party I'll forgo the usual streamers, and go for a lot of brightly-colored this instead!

thank you Ruth

This is my newest "welcome baby" gift idea.

(And I thank my new niece for giving me a reason to try it out!)

It all started with a $3.50 frame. To the seasoned scrapbookers eye, the simplicity of the project is obvious. Sadly, it still took a good 45 minutes to pick out the four 12x12 papers and the pack of letters I needed. But the end result is perfect and I plan to make these for all of my friends having babies. So be ready Amy, Julie, Cindy, Heidi, Kim, Donna, Sherri, etc....
