(An added note: Ok, people. It seems this tutorial is proving a bit tricky. So, give me a call or shoot me an email [stellagrube at hotmail dot com] and I'll walk you through it. Heck, send me your jeans and I'll do it for you!)
I'm 5' 2.5" and I will NOT be defeated. Those super cute trendy jeans with their long denim legs that mock me from their silly little hangers..... they will laugh no more!
On Friday I spent 10 minutes with this post and my sewing machine. Ten minutes! And this is what I got:

And this.
Can you tell I took off half an inch? Nope? Look closely. Still don't see it? I KNOW! How great is that?
I have shopped so many times. And there are some jeans that make my butt look good! (and I mean good.) But then they puddle on the floor in their sad way. So back on the rack they go.
No more. Thank you, DaciaRay.
Seriously, check this post out and if you're short like me, it'll change your life, too.
(And if you have a little more time, try Zafu.com. (Thanks Susan C.) I don't know much about it, but it looks promising.)

Where are the butt pictures?
I think the blog folk would like to see the butt.
I"ll have to share this info with my mom who still hems my jeans.
Because I can't stress enough how I can't sew.
At all.
So let's see if baby's got back next time!
Karen - for real, I need help! I want to be able to do the hem like the link shows but not sure I understand it!!! The jeans look great - I'm ready to hire you for an on site consultation!
Yea... I went to that tutorial.
It did not look easy.
So confused.
But I am that girl with the jeans too long. :-(
Nice hem girlie!
They look great! So...when are you coming over to show me how to do that? LOL!
Great Job. Your Grandma would be proud. 8-)
want to bring your sewing machine when you visit? :)
okay, I think you're about to change MY life. seriously. going to check that out as soon as I pick up my child from da bus stop.
Wow I am impressed with your hemming job! I always take my jeans to the dry cleaner to get them hemmed, which is $8-$12 and the hem never looks exactly the same as before. I am desperately trying to view the link... the site isn't working at the moment but I will keep trying. I seriously need to learn to hem on my own. Although that would also requiring purchasing and learning to use a sewing machine... hm...
