a week in review

I have been looking forward to this weekend for LONG time.  College roommates Cindy, Heidi, Erin, Kate, Shannon, Megan, Kerri and Karen (including respective husbands and children) will stay up way too late, catch up on the last year, play silly games and eat tons of food for an entire weekend.  This time we'll be staying in what looks like a fancy-smancy place in Hazelton, PA.  More on Monday...

Things I learned this week:
  • wine bottles make a handy rolling pin in a pinch
  • facebook is overwhelming and awesome, all at the same time
  • I think I joined a kickball league on Tuesday
  • exercising everyday makes you feel great
  • treadmills don't hate me as much as I thought
  • I sweat like a pig when riding a bike
  • I'm so in love with Monday's shoes, $319 is starting to seem reasonable
(Emily, we'll miss you and the family this weekend.  You're with us in spirit!)

I'm still laughing out loud at the treadmill memory. I remember your flying fiascos well. I'm so proud of you for getting back on the horse and telling it who's boss.

Kickball??? I LOVE KICKBALL! Didn't know they had leagues. Sounds like a hoot. Why don't you know if you signed up or not?
