quilts for everyone

As I was making my usual internet rounds, I came across this easy quilt at Martha Stewart. This is really the simplest way to make a quilt/coverlet that I thought you might enjoy. It just two large pieces of fabric, some batting, a sewing machine (although you could do it by hand), and embroidery thread to tack it together. And Martha always makes everything look so lovely. If you try it, I want to see pictures!

I'm all over that.

And by that I hope you know I'm telling you a bold face lie.

Have I mentioned that I can't even thread a needle or sewing machine??

But anyone who wants to make one for me and send it my way would be great. My birthday is coming up....

By "Quilts For Everyone" I so thought you were making one for everyone who posts a comment today!!

No? Well, darn.

Hmmm, okay, let me master sewing in a straight line first...

I've come to realize there is too much inspiration online for crafting/quilting/creating things. I feel so ADHD just thinking about all the things I could make today! :) Great find. Makes me rethink the shower curtain I saw at Target on clearance the other day. My rationale was correct in leaving it behind even though it was less than $10. I've bought a lot of fabric in the last week. I gotta use it up first. AND I did splurge on a blue and brown table runner and two green/cream placemats to turn into tote bags. :) Enough rambling. Must go create something...or play scramble!

I am so looking forward to your guest post and hearing about your circus experience!

I think your hotmail is being silly again...or you are just ignoring stalker girl.

Or...possibly...you're busy.

Apparently, I have no idea what that even means since I am ADDICTED to my computer.
