As a thank you for my loyal followers - a loyalty tested over the last few weeks, I know - I'm giving away a quilt. It's not a large quilt. Just shy of 30 inches square. But it's been made with lots of love. If you're into quilting details, scoot over to my Crafternoon post were I first introduced this quilt. I wasn't optimistic about it initially, but I've come to really like how it turned out. If you're interested, just leave a comment by Thursday midnight (MDT) on this post and I'll announce the winner on Friday. (I'm even happy to ship internationally.) Good luck!

You did a great job...it turned out beautifully!
wow. seriously? Oh my goodness!!!! you are amazing! can you tell I'm excited?
Sooo is family exempt from entering the giveaway? I can personally attest for all interested parties in the wonderfulness of your handmade quilts. They are favs here at the circus!
Oh to have a Stella quilt!! I love catching up with you on your blog. Keep it up. It makes my day.
Awesome! I'd love a stella quilt!
How cool! I love contests! And what an amazing prize!!!
Okay, I am definitely "entering" for the quilt! Wowee! It is very pretty and I am so in awe of how you just whip out quilts!

One day when I grow up, I want to be just like Karen Grube!
oh wow - i hope hope hope i win! it's such a nice quilt!
Okay, confession time.
I want the quilt because who wouldn't? It's beautiful. It would look darling on Caroline's new toddler bed. And that part about being made with love...well, it got me.
However, I recently won a blog giveaway and am now enjoying the benefits of that so...
I would feel truly badly if I won again.
But probably not badly enough to let someone else have the quilt.
So count me in.
I'll ask forgiveness for being selfish later. :)
I love the quilt but, count me out. If my name comes up draw again. You have made us two beautiful twin size quilts I use in one of the guest rooms. It is good to see the responce to you post and contest.
Love,
Um...O.M.G.
I want in.
Actually I want to know how you do what you do.
I know I'll never have the skill that you have, but if I win that quilt, I will make a commitment to being a better homemaker so that one day I will earn the privilege of having something so spectacular in my home!
...or at least I'll renew my commitment to visiting IKEA very frequently for inspiration.
(does this count as two entries?)
I LOVE it! And we could WIN it? Wowsers. You're the best!
Such a lovely little quilt, how lovely of you to give it away!
I would love to give it a happy home.

Um one of Stella's quilts sign me up! I have loved Stella's quilts since before she was a stellar quilter and since before she was stella! Really cool idea this giveaway thing. Can't wait for So You Think You Can Dance tonight huh! I am glad you are a newbie like me! Take care talk to you soon!
WOW what a great quilt!! It has such Stella colors :-) You do such a great job and just whip them out with such ease.
Count me in!!
i'm so in for the quilt! love it!!
Me. Me. Me. (Although the toddler bed entry makes me feel guilty. Hmmm.) But think of the cold, dreary NW I have to survive 10 months out of the year. I think I could make it with a Stella blanket on my lap. :) DR
To DR:
Puh-lease do not let my toddler bed entry make you feel guilty!!!
I'm just being totally selfish in wanting a Stella quilt. It doesn't even get that cold in Pittsburgh.
You obviously need it more. :)
oh you know I loved your quilty from the moment you began constructing it...and I'd be glad to give it a home in The Quilterhood Crafter-rooom!
I would love to be entered in your giveaway! I have a goal of making ONE quilt someday. I can't believe that you make them and give them away on a regular basis. Quite amazing, Stella!
You can put me in the drawing :)
Well, I thought that maybe, since, I was coming through El Paso next month anyway, that you wouldn't have to mail it if I won the quilt. And then I thought maybe if I leave two comments, then I can get two entries in the drawing. Then I thought, what if Karen chooses the very last entry? Maybe I should post one at the last minute just to be sure I covered all the bases. After all this thinking, I thought that thinking all these thoughts was pretty silly. But you know me!
Oh no! Did I miss the deadline?
I'm just a guy. Whaddo I know about quilts.
Its just that...we have this little girl. See? So sweet and... well... quilt-less.
I'd love her to actually have her very own 30 sq inch quilt (just right for her size) that she can snuggle under... reading a book with dear ol' dad ....probably just like a submariner dad I know and his li'l girl.
See, I worked late tonight (till 11pm) & when I got home Abigail was already asleep. So I went in & kissed her. She was uncovered because all she has is this airline polyester blanket that's...well...its just not a quilt. She would have huggled up to a quilt she could love...and be loved back ( y'know how quilts are!)... and been warm and cozy....
She'll call it "my Qaren Quilt" or something. Share it with her dolls and stuffed "aminals"; spread it out for make-beleive picnics.
Maybe it will inspire her to make a quilt someday (like the story we read her-"The Quiltmaker's Gift" who breaks the King's heart of stone with a quilt)...someday for some sweet little ol' lady away in a nursing home who gets cold and wishes she had a quilt...and there during a Pittsburgh Steelers game in the Common Area...there in the doorway stands Abigail bearing her first-ever quilt to give to the sweet older woman...who gave her a quilt when she was just a li'l pee-woton. "Here! I have a special gift for you! A dear friend gave me one once and now I want to pass the love on! Thank you Mrs Stella!"
Sigh.
For now we'll just have to let her sleep under that polyester synthetic particle-accelerator thing...y'know... the "blanket" that when you touch it and it catches on your fingertips makes your blood run cold....ewwww!....the kind that in this dry weather down here you get ZAPPED! every time you kiss her li'l pumpkin head g'night. Makes her fine, long hair stick out all straight from all the static charge...like a freakin' Van der Graaf generator....her head looks like a sputnik or somethin'. You turn off her bedroom light and her head is all glowin' and there's all these li'l sparks of lightning flashing all under her airline-grade polyester, solid-grey, blood-curdling "blanky".
"Dada? Someday...may I have a real, home-made, quilt?"
"You sure can sweetheart-we'll check at WalMart next time we stop there on one of our consumer binge outtings. Now you get some rest, ok?"
"But Dada!"
"Yes?"
"I want it to be a real nice one....the kind I slept with at Miss Stella & Mr Jim's!"
"We'll talk about it in the morning, sweetheart. G'night!"....
Oh but its too late...I missed the deadline. I'm sure Abigail will be okay...if the coulomb capacity of that polyester thing doesn't electrocute her or do brain-damage due to long-term exposure to electromagnetic fields.
